Friday Faves!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Guess who is ONE year old today? I can't believe how the time has flown. I can't wait to see her tomorrow for her birthday party! :)

I'm really enjoying this book, "Winter Garden" by Kristin Hannah. I just finished "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes, and next up is "Sharp Objects" by Gillian Flynn.
Have you read any good books lately?

I got a PR on hip thrusts this week- I'm now part of the 225lb club! 'Bout darn time! ;) I think doing hip thrusts twice a week has helped. My other low body lifts suck right now, so I'm happy that I'm getting stronger at least on one thing. This booty has gots to grooooow!

We've had beautiful weather this week! 70 degrees in the middle of July!??  Can't complain about that!

The new Iso-Zero whey protein arrived at my doorstep last week. It has NO sugar and NO fat...and it tastes amazing. Ya'll gotta try it, for real!

An exercise I've been loving in my workouts lately is the landmine press. I had never done these before, so it's always fun doing something different. They are great for the shoulders, triceps and core!

Verse of the week:
I'm reading through Roman's right now. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite verse from this book, but here is one I love:

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

For who can know the Lord’s thoughts?
Who knows enough to give him advice?
And who has given him so much
that he needs to pay it back?
For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
Romans 11:33-36
