Update

Okay, so we've been home from the hospital after Matt's injuries for almost a week. Matt is doing really great-he gets better each day! His knee is not nearly as swollen as it was. At first it was pretty stressful because after injuring his knee AND elbow, he was helpless! I mean, I had to feed him, ice his knee, give him water, meds, massages, help him use the restroom, switch positions....I was exhausted and stressed...and thinking, 'I have to do this for weeks or even months??" Of course I would do it gladly because I LOVE him and know that he would do the same for me!!! But now things are much better and I am not nearly as stressed! I still have to help him with a lot of things, but it's not as bad as it was. His mom flew in for a few days and helped out a lot, and a friend of ours is always here to help when we need him! After being in the hospital for 3 and a half days, I decided to take a week off from training. I was just so tired and weak, I thought it wou

Craziness

Wow...the past 2 and a half days have been crazy. My husband got injured playing volleyball(of ALL things!), and we've been in the hospital since Sunday night... I am sooooo exhausted. My whole body hurts, I haven't been eating right at all, and I am running on very little sleep, which my body is so not used to!! But I can't complain-my husband is the one really in pain. Well, I'll write more later...gotta get some sleep!

Can't Wait to Finally Make it Home!

Finally Home by Mercyme: I'm gonna wrap my arms around my daddy's neck And tell him that I've missed him. And tell him all about the man that I became And hope that it pleased him There's so much I want to say There's so much I want you to know When I finally make it home When I finally make it home Then I'll gaze upon the throne of the King Frozen in my steps And all the questions that I swore I would ask Words just won't come yet So amazed at what I've seen So much more than this old mind can hold When I finally make it home When I finally make it home And the sweetest sound my ears have yet to hear Voices of the angels When I finally make it home

Family Traditions!

This weekend we went to Stumler's Applefest and Hubers, our annual family tradition! It was a pretty nice day for it, although it was a little chilly when the sun was behind the clouds. I love spending time with my family, especially after my dad passed away. I feel like I missed a lot of times with him because I was working or something else...and I'll never get those times back. I have learned never to take anyone for granted because you never know when someone may not be there at the next family tradition. :( We are not guaranteed tomorrow, so we have to cherish every moment! Find joy in the simple things, like riding the wagon to the pumpkin patch with your family! Those are the times you will miss and look back on some day.... On the way to the pumpkin patch with my family-we took up the whole wagon! Me with my brother, Jesse My husband and I
