HAPPY FRIDAY y'all!

Hope you've all had a great week so far!
I'm super happy because finally, FINALLY, the weather is getting warmer! This weekend is supposed to be beautiful, and I am so looking forward to it.

Today I was able to be outside in SHORTS and soak up some much needed Vitamin D. ☼☼☼


I recently discovered this Oikos Triple Zero yogurt, and I am in love! ♥♥ 
I HATE plain Greek yogurt. Like, it is nasty. But this is good stuff and will definitely be a new staple in my diet! So far, I've only tried the banana, but I have strawberry to try next. If you've tried it, what's your favorite flavor?


I just finished this book and thought it was really good! 
Have you read any good books lately?


So I saw this at Kroger on sale... and I just couldn't pass it by. 
Another cereal to add to my post workout collection! Not sure it can beat Honeycomb or Honey Bunches of Oats, but I can't wait to try it and see. :) 

Got me some new kicks!  
I've needed new tennis shoes for FOREVER, and my Chucks were like 6 years old!! Can't wait to break my new ones in at the gym. Hoping to start setting some new PRs in them!

I got to see Celeste not that long ago, which makes my heart soooo happy. I seriously love this little girl. She is so funny now that she can talk and show her personality. She just cracks me up non-stop! 


 I'm currently LOVING this song. 
I don't know what it is, but it puts me in a good mood! This time of year, there's just something about blasting some country music while driving with the windows rolled down! I love it.

Hey guys. Here's where we're at right now: Matt finished his radiation treatments last week. Did they help? I don't know. He's sleeping a lot more. Having trouble chewing and swallowing. Not eating much. Not talking much, at least not in full sentences. It's just been a slow, steady decline for the last few months. I think it was really too late for radiation....But who knows, maybe it is delaying things. We went in last Tuesday for his infusion and talked with his neuro-oncologist about everything that we've been seeing with Matt, and he decided that we're at the point now where we should discontinue treatments...I feel like it's the right decision, even though it breaks my heart knowing that there is nothing else we can do. One Year...

One year ago today... the day it all changed. It was a Tuesday. I got the call from Matt around 3:00. I remember I was sitting at the computer at home. Matt told me that he was at the hospital, and that Bob Scott, his boss, had driven him there. Then he said those 4 words I never expected to hear: “The tumor came back.”  My heart stopped. Matt had gone in that morning for an MRI, as he has done numerous times in the past 10 years. He was now at the point where he had an MRI just yearly now, and that one was done in February, which showed that everything was fine. There was no sign of tumor growth, which had been the case for the last 10 years, praise God. But because Matt had been having some seizure activity for the last few months, they suggested he go in for another MRI in July.
